Birthed by Lavy, VERBAL ANIMAL operates as a rotating ensemble of QUEER, interdisciplinary collaborators. Exploding into unconventionality, our work expands as an intuitive engine for dance, theater, drag, sound, and fashion.

Since inception, we have performed in spaces such as Laguardia Performing Arts Center, The Space at Irondale, The 14th St Y, Triskelion Arts, Arts On Site, and The Craft NYC, among others.

In an urge to fuel environmental sustainability, Lavy and associate choreographer Lily Sheppard direct and choreograph Reworked Runway, a multidisciplinary and sustainable fashion show in New York City.

Additionally, we curate QUEER NOISE, an experimental x open forum setting for emerging QUEER choreographers to share work at any stage of making.
